Sam Wyne is bringing The Wantage Brass quartet which will be performing works by Karl Jenkins, Andrew Lloyd-Webber, William Byrd and Joseph Horovitz amongst others.
The last concert which featured Sam was a sell-out, with standing room only, so if you are coming, please arrive early!

Thatcham Festival 2017 in The Old Bluecoat School
Once again, a number of very well supported events were run in the School during the Festival.
Thatcham Photographic Club launched the Festival with a Reception and a striking Exhibition by local photographers.
Thatcham Art Experience hung paintings in a rich diversity of styles and media the following weekend and made several sales to appreciative visitors.

Renu Mohan, a yoga teacher and regular OBS hirer, introduced newcomers of all ages to the value of health-giving yoga throughout the evening.
Nigel Smith, local funny man, had his audience in stitches with his jokes and rhyming nonsense verses! An escape from reality for the evening!

The Old Bluecoat School Trust was proud to present an evening of Past, Present and Future glimpses into the the history of the building which included detailed photographs of the 2014 external refurbishment of the building and an insight into what was being planned for the interior refurbishment and running of the building.
