Please take a look at the new lettings schedule. It has all hirings booked until the end of December.
Our facilities include, Carpark, kettle, tea urn, crockery, toilet, wash area, CD player with jack input, 6 large tressle tables, and 60 chairs. Although we do not have a kitchen area, the kitchenette is usually adequate for serving and drink preparation.
On Sunday 15th September 2019 we celebrated 25 years of National Heritage open days by being part of a historical walk through Thatcham. Not only were two of our Trustees on hand to talk about the history of the OBS, but the building was used to offer much needed refreshments on such a hot day.
What an amazing afternoon!
Staff and students from Berkshire Maestros performed music from Benjamin Britten and Mozart to Sondheim and Gershwin.
All the concert was of the highest standard, and many thanks goes to Trevor Defferd for accompanying the musicians and Simon Witcomb for organising the event.
Below is Sophie Hallam performing an aria from The Magic Flute.
